Data Protection & Account Deletion

We respect your privacy and your right to control personal data. This page explains how we protect information and how you can request access, correction, or deletion. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
What we collect
- Account data — email and authentication identifiers (via Clerk)
- Transaction data — purchase and subscription records (via Stripe; we store amounts and references, not full card numbers)
- Usage & security logs — IP-derived and request metadata for fraud prevention and platform security
- Messages — direct messages you send through the site
- Local browser storage — age confirmation and theme preference on your device only
How we protect data
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to creator tools and admin analytics is restricted to authorized accounts. Payment card data is processed by Stripe under PCI standards; we do not store raw card numbers on our servers. Database hosting uses industry-standard access controls.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data, and to object to certain processing. We honor applicable legal requirements (including GDPR-style requests where relevant).
Delete your account & personal data
Option 1 — In the app: Sign in, open your account menu (profile icon), and use Clerk's account management to delete your user account when available.
Option 2 — Email request: Send a deletion request from the email on your account to with the subject line Data deletion request. We will verify ownership and respond within 30 days (sooner when possible).
What happens when you delete
- Profile and authentication data are removed or anonymized in our database where technically feasible
- Message history associated with your account is deleted or anonymized
- Financial records (payments, subscriptions, tax-related logs) may be retained as required by law, Stripe, or accounting obligations — typically without marketing use
- Backups may persist for a limited period before rolling off; deleted data is not restored to active systems
Processors & subprocessors
We use trusted providers to run the site: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting, analytics, and media storage). Each processes data under their own policies and our instructions for providing the service.
